Bayern Munich star Aleksandar Pavlović happy with health, eager to see attack vs. Union Saint-Gilloise

FC Bayern’s young star is enjoying his run of play.

Bayern Munich midfielder Aleksandar Pavlović is aware of the danger that Union Saint-Gilloise will present in the Champions League. However, the 21-year-old is also looking forward to seeing Bayern Munich’s attacking group get back at it on the pitch.

“They are very compact, they defend strongly and counter very well. We have to be careful in our defensive midfield. They have technically gifted midfielders and dangerous players upfront. We’ll have to be aware,” Pavlović said (as captured by @iMiaSanMia). “It’s always great to watch what the guys are delivering up front. We in midfield have to take care of the rest defense. It’s simply fun to have such players in front of us. They have complete freedom and they use it superbly. The whole world is seeing that right now.”

Pavlović is enjoying this run of play where he has avoided injuries and illnesses — two things that have felled him at times.

“I’m glad that I’ve been fit and healthy for a long time. I haven’t changed much, and I couldn’t do anything with my past injuries; they were fractures. Now I’m just looking ahead,” Pavlović said. “I always try to give my best and perform to the best of my ability. I play simple football. I can dictate the game and I think my calm on the ball does the team good. It’s just incredibly fun playing with this team right now.”
