Jalen Green and Draya Michele have been dating since August 2023.
Phoenix Suns' Jalen Green has game on and off the court.
In an interview with Whistle's Relationship Quiz, Green confessed that he is the one who initiated a romantic relationship with his now-girlfriend, Draya Michele.
"I slid in your DM," Green revealed in the video.
"Thank you. Did everyone hear that?" Draya interjected.
The couple has been dating since 2023, but they have seen a lot of backlash due to their 17-year age gap. Draya's interjection was to clear up the rumor that she contacted the NBA star first, which fans found indifferent about due to their ages.
In June 2024, TMZ caught up with the couple, where Draya shared how she felt about people talking about their relationship.
"I don't know what people's problem is," Draya told the outlet. "Two adults being in love, I don't know why that would rub people the wrong way. It's kind of weird. Love is love at the end of the day."
The couple also now share a daughter whom they welcomed in May 2024. Their daughter is Green's first child, and Draya has two sons from two previous relationships. She was previously engaged to former Philadelphia Eagles' cornerback Orlando Scandrick.

"You know what’s funny? First person I called after I got the news was my mom, because of course," he wrote. "You gotta call Mom. If I even had one second of feeling sorry for myself, that was gone by the time she picked up the phone."
Green also made it clear that there is no ill will felt against the Rockets, and he's ready to perform well and give his all in Phoenix.
"What’s that thing that people are always saying in these moments? Don’t cry because it’s over? Smile because it happened? Bro, I’m smiling," Green wrote. "It’s nothing but love for the Rockets. I’m sorry I gotta try to bust y’all a** now, but every time I see y’all, it’s gonna be love. I mean, I grew up here, for real...
