Ayo Oke got her first call up for the USWNT to face Paraguay and Chile.
Defender Ayo Oke has been called to the USWNT in place of Houston Dash defender Avery Patterson (illness). This is the first time that expansion club Denver Summit FC had a player called up to the USWNT.
However more importantly, Oke gets her first call-up to the senior national team.
Oke will join the rest of the USWNT players who have been in camp in LA since January 18.
The USWNT is getting ready to face Paraguay on January 24. This game will kick off at 5:30 PM ET. Four days later, they’ll take on Chile at noon local time.
