Ben Brown, Muskego Ice Force boys hockey co-op
The senior from Franklin had a monster week for the Ice Force with five goals and eight total points in two games, including five goals and a pair of assists in a 9-5 victory over back-to-back state qualifier Brookfield Stars co-op Jan. 15 that extended his point streak to five games.
Rowan Counsell, Whitefish Bay girls basketball
Counsell was sensational in a pair of victories for the Blue Dukes last week. On Jan. 14, Counsell had 24 points with a game-high eight assists in a 67-52 victory over Wisconsin Lutheran. Two nights later, she scored a game-high 29 points on 12-of-18 shooting in a 79-42 blowout of Germantown at home.
Rashaad Davis, Nicolet boys basketball
The senior guard became the all-time career scorer in program history, reaching 1,460 career points. He surpassed Steve Bazelon from Nicolet's class of 1969 (1,405 career points).
Lauren Hilbelink, Menomonee Falls/Germantown gymnastics
The Menomonee Falls junior finished with a score of 9.2 on the floor exercise on Jan. 17, besting a competitive field at the Hartland Arrowhead meet.
Natalie Kussow, Arrowhead girls basketball
Kussow became Waukesha County's all-time leading scorer, surpassing two-time Division 1 state champion Grace Grocholski from Kettle Moraine's mark of 2,294 career points. Kussow had 34 points, 12 rebounds and six assists in an 89-67 victory over Hartford on Jan. 13. Three nights later at home against Muskego in Classic 8 Conference action, the future Minnesota Golden Gopher tallied a game-high 33 points in a 77-41 victory over the Warriors.
