Report – Inter Milan To Only Make Big-Name Signings In The Summer Transfer Window

Serie A pacesetters Inter Milan will not make any high-profile signings during the January transfer window.

According to Il Giorno via FCInter1908, the Nerazzurri hierarchy will only pursue big-name additions at the end of the season.

Despite being desperate to find a reliable replacement for Denzel Dumfries, Inter will not break the bank this winter.

Indeed, the San Siro giants have identified PSV Eindhoven veteran Ivan Perisic as a potential short-term solution.

However, they would only sign the 36-year-old on favorable terms.

With Dumfries’ recovery progressing better than expected, Inter are reluctant to spend big to replace the Dutchman in January.

They had already tried to lure Joao Cancelo back to San Siro, but the Portuguese star chose Barcelona.

Instead, they’re patiently waiting for presentable opportunities in the market and could act in the final days of the transfer window.

Otherwise, they will try to land a new wingback at the end of the season, with Marco Palestra emerging as the club’s top target.
