Fulham have confirmed the signing of Benjamin Lecomte (33) from Montpellier HSC in an official announcement made on Saturday, marking the Premier Leagueside’s first addition of the summer transfer window. The French goalkeeper has penned a two-year deal with the Lilywhites.
Despite several other clubs already being active on the market, Fulham have remained patient — Lecomte’s arrival being their first senior reinforcement ahead of the 2025/26 season.
“I’m really, really happy and proud to join Fulham because it’s a new step in my career, and I think it will be really nice to be part of the club,” Lecomte said to Fulham TV after signing for the West London club.“He is a talented goalkeeper with valuable experience, including more than 300 appearances in Ligue 1, and his arrival will further strengthen the team and add depth to Marco [Silva]’s squad,” added Fulham Sporting director Tony Khan.GFFN | George Boxall
