Alvaro Arbeloa made a revelation during the press conference after Real Madrid’s victory over Levante this Saturday. Kylian Mbappé apparently gave him a special welcome gift.

Alvaro Arbeloa has been the new coach of Real Madrid for less than a week. The manager received quite an original greeting from Kylian Mbappé upon his arrival. After the 2-0 win against Levante this Saturday in La Liga, Arbeloa shared in the press conference the welcome gesture from the French striker. “The first thing he did was nutmeg me during a rondo. That’s quite a way to say welcome,” Arbeloa said with a smile.

Arbeloa also praised Mbappé’s qualities both on and off the pitch: “Watching him train, watching him play, what he’s able to do with the ball... that’s something I’ll remember for the rest of my life. He’s a fantastic guy, a natural leader, and I hope his knee holds up for a long time because we’re definitely going to need him.”
