Liverpool drew 1-1 against in their Premier League clash on Saturday.
The Reds were on top for most of the game with Scott Parker's men often unable to match the firepower of the reigning Premier League champions.
Arne Slot's men have found themselves on a decent run over the last couple of months with the Anfield outfit now just seven points adrift of second-placed Manchester City.
Most of the Reds' players put in decent performances on Saturday but the display that one Liverpool player put on seemed to stand out for ex-Everton ace Leon Osman.
Since the 2025-26 season kicked off, Hugo Ekitike has arguably been Liverpool's best-performing player.

The striker has often carried the Reds' attack on his back with the Frenchman often outperforming Mohamed Salah and Alexander Isak.
Since both have been absent from Slot's squad over the last month or so, Ekitike has really come into his own and formed an impressive partnership with Florian Wirtz.
And, it was a moment produced by both attackers which caught the eye of Osman on Saturday.
"That was a really good piece of play from Liverpool," he said on USA Network.
"Good ball from Wirtz, good intent again from Ekitike, he's the one isn't he.
"When he hits the ball, he does want to get in on goal, he does and his net touch could be the one that gets him on the scoresheet."
Liverpool must continue building on their impressive performances
Liverpool's performances between the end of October and the end of November really derailed their season.
It was clear that none of their new signings were able to blend with one another and perform to the best standards possible.
And, while most fans, pundits and journalists expected there to be a bit of onboarding troubles, nobody could have anticipated how many games the Reds would actually end up losing.
However, now that Slot's men have seemingly gotten used to playing alongside one another, it feels like things are finally falling into place and, if they can continue this run of form, there's no reason why they can't re-enter the Premier League title race.
Of course, the Champions League is likely to be their main focus, but, for now, they must ensure that they keep consistent and continue building on their recent outings to give them the best chance possible.
