Ahead of the Los Angeles Rams' matchup with the Chicago Bears, RB Blake Corum said that head coach Sean McVay used a specific mantra to unify the squad.
The preparation has begun for the Los Angeles Rams as they brace for an NFC Divisional Round clash against the Chicago Bears. It is a massive opportunity for Blake Corum and Co., who are looking to defy the 'rebuilding' label placed upon them by analysts throughout the campaign.
On a recent appearance, Corum joined "The Rich Eisen Show" to discuss the team's mindset. This will be the first postseason run for Corum following his second year in the professional league.
For the Rams locker room ahead of the matchup with the Bears, Corum said that head coach Sean McVay used a specific mantra to unify the squad.
“We’re enough,” McVay said. “What we’ve done this season, we’re here for a reason. And everyone that’s in this facility, on this field, coaches, players, staff, whatever it is, we are enough to get the job done.”

Los Angeles Rams running back Blake Corum #22 is tackled during the first half against the Dallas Cowboys at SoFi Stadium on August 9, 2025 in Inglewood, California.
The running back detailed how this internal belief grew throughout the season.
“I just feel like I understand the scheme now,” Corum said regarding his increased comfort level. “I was in it for a year. Now going to year two, I just feel more comfortable, able to play fast, build that trust with my guys.”
Corum, who previously suffered a knee injury and a broken arm, recently recorded his first 100-yard game against the Arizona Cardinals. It's the first time after 'hard times' that he feels success:
“I definitely thought about it,” Corum said of the adversity. “How life works and how you have to fight through adversity, and then at the end of adversity is success. The way I look at it, hard times, dark times, they don't last forever.”
Blake Corum dismissed the idea that the cold would stop the Rams' offense
The weather in Chicago could tie in significantly to the game plan. The forecast calls for temperatures around 11 degrees, with some reports suggesting it could feel like negative one.
“It’s bogus,” Corum said. “I do believe the Bears team in general, I think they're a phenomenal team, but in terms of the weather impacting this game, it's bogus. We're going there. They had to play in it just like us.”
The Los Angeles Rams (13-5) will play the Chicago Bears (12-6) on Sunday. Kickoff is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. ET at Soldier Field. Fans can watch the game on NBC and the NBC Sports app, also available on Peacock.
