FC Bayern interested in a Bundesliga transfer?
Bayern Munich sporting director Christoph Freund previewed his team’s clash on Saturday with Bundesliga rivals RB Leipzig by answering questions about a potential player on Bayern’s watch list: winger Yan Diomande.
What else is new, right? However, Freund took pains to not give the appearance of attempting to unsettle his opponents.
“Generally speaking, he’s a very good player who’s had a very good development,” Freund said in comments captured by @iMiaSanMia. “It’s normal that when a Bundesliga player plays well or develops well, he gets linked to FC Bayern. He’s a Leipzig player and it’s not our job to comment on that. But as I said, everyone sees he’s a very good player.”
Every top Bundesliga talent seems to get linked to the German Rekordmeister sooner or later. Last game it was Said El Mala, this time it’s Yan Diomande. Bayern fans will have at least one opposing player to keep a close eye on for Saturday.
