GHENT, WV (WVNS) – Wyoming East overcame a 10-point deficit to knock off the James Monroe Mavericks in a New Richmond classic.
Wyoming East started the first quarter hot, but the Mavericks buckled down on defense to take a 35-31 lead into halftime.
James Monroe went up big in the third quarter, but the Warriors went on a big run to put themselves back into the game.
Wyoming East went on to win 58-53 over the Mavericks.
