The First Team All-American to begin NWSL career in Orlando after record-setting career with the Horned Frogs
TCU Soccer reached new heights in 2025, earning its first trip to the College Cup, the semifinals of the NCAA Tournament, led by super scoring forward Seven Castain. After four standout seasons with the Horned Frogs, Castain will begin her professional career in the NWSL with the Orlando Pride. The 2024 NWSL Champions announced the signing on Friday as it looks to build its 2026 roster after finishing the 2025 season in the NWSL Semifinals.
Castain joins three other Horned Frogs in the NWSL, the top division of women’s soccer in the United States, defender Ryan Williams of the NC Courage and fellow forwards Yazmeen Ryan and Messiah Bright of the Houston Dash. Bright also began her NWSL with the Pride, selected 21st overall in the 2023 NWSL Draft.
Castain was one of the most decorated players to ever put on the purple in Fort Worth, scoring 40 goals with 15 assists in 93 game played for the Horned Frogs. A four-time All-Big 12 honoree and two-time All American, including First Team All-American honors in 2025 when she matched a single-season program record with 17 goals.
The Orlando Pride open the 2026 season at home on March 15 vs. Seattle Reign.
