Eintracht Frankfurt provided plenty of Bundesliga drama once again when they snatched a stoppage time 3-3 draw at Werder Bremen on Friday night.

Ansgar Knauff scored in the fourth minute of time added on after a cross from Ayoube Amaimouni-Echghouyab.

The goal stood upon a video review as the linesman had originally raised his flag, indicating that the ball was out of bounds when Amaimouni-Echghouyab made the cross, which was not the case.

It was a tough blow for Bremen who had just minutes earlier turned a 2-1 deficit into a 3-2 lead.

Jens Stage headed a 2-2 equalizer off Samuel Mbangula's free-kick in the 78th minute and Jovan Milosevic made it 3-2 in the 80th into the empty net, set up by Romano Schmid.

Frankfurt had claimed a first-minute lead from newly-signed Arnaud Kalimuendo, Justin Njinmah levelled in the 29th after a throughball from Yukinari Sugawara and Nnamdi Collins restored Frankfurt's lead in the 56th when he converted off Mahmoud Dahoud with his shin.

Njinmah missed a second equalizer in the 68th and at the other end Fares Chaibi should have made it 3-1 before the dramatic finale.

Frankfurt remain seventh but have now conceded 39 goals in 18 season games, nine of them over the past eight days, the others coming in a 3-3 draw with Borussia Dortmund and in a 3-2 defeat at VfB Stuttgart.

"The morale is good. We try to tackle the problem and train hard so it is even more annoying to concede three goals again. We came here to win. You can say it's lucky to get a point but it is two lost points," Collins told streaming portal DAZN.

Bremen ended a run of three games without scoring but are now without victory in seven games to rank 12th.

"If you look at our last weeks it can't be any more bitter how we gave the game away. We score three goals and don't win," Njimmah said.
