TSG Hoffenheim are pushing to make a double signing of VfB Stuttgart talent Mirza Catovic and Alessandro Vogt from FC St. Gallen.
According to Sky Germany, Vogt now close to joining TSG Hoffenheim in the summer and the 20-year-old striker wants to move.
St. Gallen are informed of the players' decision and Hoffenheim are set to activate the release clause of around €2.7million.
Vogt has shown outstanding development under head coach Enrico Maaßen, with 8 goals and 2 assists in 20 Swiss Super League games.
Meanwhile, the Sinsheim club are also keen on VfB talent Catovic and consider him an exciting prospect who is ready for the Bundesliga.
However, no offer has been made yet. Stuttgart would like to keep the 18-year-old central midfielder who is still under contract until 2028.
Interestingly this morning, Stuttgart were linked with a move for Hoffenheim's Grisha Prömel – who could leave as a free agent in summer.
