His future is once again uncertain.
CSKA Moscow have made an offer of up to €30 million to Levante for Etta Eyong, according to Cadena SER.
The Russian side have been in touch with a bid of €25m plus variables that would bring the total closer to €30m. Eyong is thought to have a release clause in his contract set at €30m.
Eyong has caught the eye this season at Levante and been linked with several clubs including Barca. The Catalans were also interested last summer and have been tipped to reignite their interest if Robert Lewandowski moves on.
The report claims that Eyong wants to see out the season with Levante and will then make a decision on his future, with a move to the Premier League also a possibility.
However, Levante are apparently keen to sell in January – for financial reasons – but would ask that Eyong stays on loan at the club for the rest of the 2025-26 season.
It’s not clear yet what will happen with Eyong but Barcelona may well be watching the situation very carefully.
