Major decision this Wednesday in Burkina Faso. The Federation has parted ways with head coach Brama Traoré following the team's elimination in the round of 16 at CAN 2025 against Ivory Coast.
The Burkina Faso Football Federation (FBF) announced on Wednesday the end of its collaboration with the national team coach, Brama TRAORÉ, as well as his entire technical staff. "After a thorough analysis of Burkina Faso's participation in the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations in Morocco, it was decided to end the collaboration with the national coach and his staff," the official statement read.

The decision comes in the wake of Burkina Faso's disappointing exit from CAN 2025, knocked out in the round of 16 by Ivory Coast. "The results were deemed to fall far short of the objectives set for the national team in this major continental competition," the Federation emphasized.
