During the press conference ahead of tonight's clash between Senegal and Egypt, Pape Thiaw sent a clear warning to the Pharaohs.
On Wednesday evening, Senegal will go head-to-head with Egypt. The recent history between these two nations has been packed with tense encounters, often decided by the finest of margins—like the 2022 AFCON final, which the Lions clinched on penalties. Facing the media, Pape Thiaw made it clear he expects anything, but above all, he expects to win.
"We're preparing for everything. If tomorrow I'm told we win on penalties, I'll take it. But we've mainly prepared to win through our style of play," declared the Lions of Teranga head coach.
