The Hoosiers are turning their historic 2025 season into immediate success on the high school recruiting trail.
Indiana football is already turning its historic run through the 2025 season and the ensuing College Football Playoff into success on the recruiting trail.
The Hoosiers landed a trio of commitments in the high school class of 2027 in the days following their 56-22 win over Oregon in the Peach Bowl, which sent them to the National Championship Game. The three joined quarterback Jameson Purcell, who was previously Indiana’s lone commit in the class.

- WR Ja’Hyde Brown, Christian Academy of Louisville(Louisville, KY)
- A 4-star receiver, Brown was pursued by the likes of Alabama, Kentucky, Auburn, Oklahoma and Louisville among others before choosing Indiana.
- ATH Monsanna Torbert Jr, Taft High School (Cincinnati, OH)
- A 4-star athlete Torbert Jr. was pursued by the likes of Kentucky and Iowa before picking Indiana.
- S Garyon Hobbs, Christian Academy of Louisville (Louisville, KY)
- A teammate of Brown’s and a 3-star safety, Hobbs was pursued by the likes of Notre Dame, Clemson and Louisville among others before picking Indiana.
