It has been an interesting offseason thus far for the Sacramento Kings as they have made multiple moves as they try to compete for a playoff spot in the Western Conference next season.

Many around the NBA believed that the Kings would elect to start a rebuild this offseason, or at least trade away one or two of their star players, but it does not look like that will be the case.

Instead, Sacramento landed Dennis Schroder in free agency via a sign-and-trade with the Detroit Pistons to upgrade their starting point guard position and they also added two young players in the draft in Nique Clifford and Maxime Raynaud.

Despite this, Malik Monk and DeMar DeRozan have continued to come up in trade rumors but it appears as though the Kings are set to run it back next season with their main core along with some new additions.

Sacramento may not be done making moves this summer as well as they have recently been linked to a former All-Star guard who is looking to make an NBA comeback after multiple injuries.

According to Bovada, the Kings have the seventh-best odds (+1000) to sign Victor Oladipo this summer.

The Indiana Pacers are the favorite (+275) to sign him and they are followed by the Washington Wizards (+450) and Charlotte Hornets (+500).

Oladipo has not played in the NBA since the 2022-23 season with the Miami Heat as he has dealt with multiple injuries that saw him exit the league.

Despite this, the 33-year-old guard is looking to make a comeback next season and he could be a solid addition to the Kings’ bench.

Oladipo is a reliable scorer and solid defender that Sacramento would be able to sign at a cheap price and could be a major factor for them in the second unit.

While that could be the case, the Kings would have to waive one of their players as their roster is currently full and they may not want to do that to take a chance on a player with a long list of injuries.
