One Chelsea player has made assurances that they will ‘do a lot of good things’ with Liam Rosenior at the helm.
The former Strasbourg manager has made the big switch to Chelsea, replacing Enzo Maresca who parted ways with the club on New Years Day 2026.
EXCLUSIVE! Manchester City make enquiry for star Chelsea player!
Rosenior got off to a good start to his reign as Chelsea boss, thrashing Charlton Athletic 5-1 away from home in the third round of the FA Cup on Saturday night. But the tougher tests will come now, starting this Wednesday night in the semi final of the Carabao Cup against Arsenal.
Many people have doubted Rosenior’s appointment at Chelsea and fear that it will not go well. But midfielder Moises Caicedo believes they will do a lot of good things with the former Premier League player.

On Rosenior so far, Caicedo said via the Chelsea website:
‘I think he just wants discipline and effort from us, in training, in games.
‘We have started really well with him and for sure we are going to do a lot of good things with him.’
And on the Charlton win, Caicedo continued:
‘We are so pleased with the win because we knew they are so difficult to play against, so the team was good.
‘It’s a battle when you play against a team like them, but our team was prepared. I think we did very well and we won the game.’

Chelsea’s double pivot in midfield played very well in this game, making many passes and helping to control the play. It could also help to free up Reece James some more.
