We asked for your views on who will replace Conor Bradley after he was ruled out for the rest of the domestic season with a significant knee injury.
Here are some of your comments:
Marc: It's about time that Calvin Ramsay was given a chance. Liverpool seem to be cursed with injury prone right backs and none of them seem to get a decent run. Hopefully Ramsay plays in the FA Cup and shows the ability he undoubtedly has.
Keith: It's an absolute shame for Bradley, especially if Northern Ireland qualify for the World Cup. I think we should be looking for a right back in this window because Joe Gomez doesn't have the fitness level to play every game, Jeremie Frimpong is a better player going forward and we can't afford to play our midfield players there.
Ian: Unfortunately for Bradley he's injury prone, he's out injured more than he's fit. We need players who can stay fit for longer spells. We have a habit of buying players who have had lengthy spells injured and it doesn't help with the balance of the team.
Peter: Tricky one. The safest choice is Gomez. Good defender but injury prone and certainly can't play multiple games. Then Frimpong but defensively a bit Trent-like. Not Szoboszlai because his talents would be wasted. Maybe Curtis Jones to have him on the pitch.
Adam: Play Gomez at right back. He's solid, needs game time and is quick. It also makes us compact and allows him to move into a three at the back when we have the ball and for us to get back to some form of attacking football with the front six and other full back. His delivery is also adequate and he brings a long throw as an extra weapon.
