’47 and Carhartt Debut Headwear Collection With Campaign Featuring Phillies Player Bryce Harper

"This collab really shows the level of quality they put into everything," Harper told WWD.

’47 and Carhartt teamed up for a new collaboration with Major League Baseball star Bryce Harper fronting the campaign. The premium headwear brand and workwear label created a new baseball cap styles spotlighting MLB teams.

“The hat’s the last thing you put on,” Harper told WWD. “It’s the final piece before you walk out the door and feel good,” the Philadelphia Phillies’ first baseman and right fielder said. “’47 makes hats that are crafted the right way — you can wear them forward, backward, on a date night or just out in general. This collab really shows the level of quality they put into everything.”

The collection includes styles ranging from MVP hats to the Clean Up and Hitch styles, as well as truckers and more. Team logos featured in the collection include the Houston Astros, Atlanta Braves, New York Mets and Harper’s own Philadelphia Phillies, which he models in the campaign. The collaboration also holds personal significance for Harper, who has long worn ’47’s styles and has a special connection to Carhartt.

“This collab really means something to me,” Harper said in a statement. “I grew up watching my dad come home in his Carhartt after long days working iron — he was a big union guy, and that work ethic stuck with me. That’s what this drop represents: the people who show up and grind every day, in Philly and across the country. And ’47 just gets it. The way they craft their hats — you can feel the quality the second you put one on.”

The ’47 x Carhartt collection is now available on ’47’s official website. Prices for collaboration styles range from $40 to $42. Boston-based ’47 was acquired by lifestyle brand New Era in June 2024.

This latest collaboration with ’47 follows Carhartt’s expansion into the retail market. Carhartt Work in Progress, the trendy streetwear-inspired collection from namesake workwear label, debuted its store in Williamsburg in May 2025, featuring men’s and women’s merchandise. Carhartt set its sights on women’s apparel back in February 2024, addressing the specific needs of women in the trade workforce.
