One could say Michael Olise continues to get better and better for Bayern Munich. But perhaps the truth is that he has been this good for a while now. The Frenchman shone against VfL Wolfsburg in Bayern Munich’s return to Bundesliga action, setting up a goal, bagging two more himself, forcing multiple own goals and rightly winning the Man of the Match award.
Manuel Neuer was asked about Olise after the match and the captain gave the former Crystal Palace player his rightful dues:
“He’s enjoying his football here. He’s a very creative player and can always create dangerous situations,” Neuer said, as captured by @iMiaSanMia. “He’s having fun in the team. With Jamal [Musiala] back, he’ll have another player he gets on well with very well. He’s an important factor for us.”
What a terrifying concept for the rest of the Bundesliga. Once Musiala returns from injury, could Olise perform even better than he is now?
