Hansi Flick's Barcelona have broken the deadlock in tonight's Supercopa de España final in Jeddah thanks ot some familiar faces.
Blaugrana nearly went - at least - one-nil down if not for Vinícius Júnior and Gonzalo Garcia scuffing a pair of big chances on the break, but the LaLiga leaders would soon find the mark in the 36th minute thanks to Raphinha.
The Brazilian winger did well to slot home a calm and collected finish into the bottom corner beyond Thibaut Courtois, with Fermin López turning provider for the opener.
For Raphinha, it was his ninth direct contribution (6 goals + 3 assists) against Los Blancos in a Barça shirt, while López has now registered a stunning 17 direct contributions in 15 starts across all competitions in 2025/26, giving him 34 goals and assists in 34 appearances since the start of last season.
With these two mercurial talents continuing to enjoy themselves, will Hansi Flick preside over yet another impressive campaign in Catalunya?
