While awaiting a response from Giacomo Raspadori and following Manchester United’s temporary closure of Joshua Zirkzee, the Giallorossi have set their sights on another striker.
As reported by Alfredo Pedullà of Sportitalia, Roma are interested in Aston Villa’s Donyell Malen.
The Dutch striker, formerly of Borussia Dortmund, could leave Birmingham.
Frederic Massara is seriously considering signing him, but much will depend on the agreement on the terms and the willingness of the 1999-born forward, who arrived from Germany a year ago for €25 million.
Roma likes Malen, but no agreement has yet been reached with Aston Villa or the player himself.
Juventus are also considering him. But he’s not the only one with interest from Serie A.
Other foreign clubs are also interested. Meanwhile, Aston Villa are looking for another striker. The English team likes former Giallorossi player Tammy Abraham, now at Besiktas.
