Harry Kane is basically half of FC Bayern’s success in recent years
With Harry Kane’s contract at Bayern Munich nearing its end, other clubs are on the prowl because there is a possibility of snapping up the former Tottenham Hotspur man from the Bavarians’ grasp. The catch? Neither the player nor the club are thinking of a transfer, and that the contract talks will come naturally.
“With his goals, his style of play, and his leadership, he’s incredibly important to our team,” Bayern CEO Jan-Christian Dreesen said (t-online journo Julian Buhl via @iMiaSanMia). “I still vividly remember the summer of 2023, how intensely we – and I personally – fought to bring Harry to Munich. And I’ve really felt in recent months how much he and his family feel at home here. We’ll certainly talk at the right time. We have great confidence in the process and in Harry.”
Word on the road is that Dayot Upamecano’s extension is as good as done (verbal agreement) so hopefully Kane’s contract talks aren’t as turbulent as with other players.
