FC Bayern is looking toward the future.
According to a report from Bild journalist Tobi Altschäffl (as captured by @iMiaSanMia), Bayern Munich will be looking for a new left-wing to back up Luis Díaz.
Specifically, Bayern Munich is looking for a young attacker to complement the Colombian star. In addition to that, Bayern Munich is still also focused on the defensive midfield position, where RSC Anderlecht’s Nathan De Cat and Hertha Berlin’s Kennet Eichhorn are still in focus:
Bayern want a new young squad player behind Luis Díaz on the left-wing position. If financially feasible, the club could sign a perspective player/talent there. In addition, the club is keeping a close eye on the market for defensive midfielders. With Leon Goretzka likely to leave in the summer, players like Nathan De Cat and Kennet Eichhorn have been monitored for months.
BFW Commentary
Some Bayern Munich fans will immediately ask, “What about Wisdom Mike?” — and that is a good question. It seems, however, that Bayern Munich believes that Mike needs more seasoning. On Wednesday, a report broke that Bayern Munich could seek a loan partner for Mike, which would open things up for the club to bring in another young player to learn from Díaz on the wing.
