Don’t forget the joke of the week…
If you never really set a New Years resolution, are you succeeding or failing? You never really set a new expectation for yourself, so if the idea is to “stay the same”, then you should feel like you’re succeeding. If you don’t improve however, aren’t you technically failing? This is the conundrum I face as we are already a week in, and I can’t tell if things are getting better.
That may be due to the lack of sleep from dealing with the twins on a nightly basis, but that also might be due to the fact that I haven’t decided what to improve on. I know I need to lose some weight, particularly belly fat, as the “Dad Bod” is actually really unhealthy. I also need to improve my golf game, as I focus on learning a new skill once a year and practice that every time I can. Last year it was the bump and run close to the green. Better to decide a little late but still act. Here are your flakes…
