The Detroit Pistons had a solid Summer League in Las Vegas as they finished with a 3-2 record.
Of course, all eyes were on rookie guard Chaz Lanier during the Summer League for the Pistons but they had multiple players stand out in Las Vegas including second-year forward Ron Holland II.
On Tuesday, Holland II was recognized for his play during the Summer League as he was named to the NBA 2K26 All-Summer League Second Team.

Joining him on the All-Summer League Second Team was Isaac Jones, Kon Knueppel, Ajay Mitchell and KJ Simpson.
This is an incredible honor for Holland II and one that was well-deserved as he dominated for the Pistons in the three games that he played in before Detroit shut him down for the summer.
In those three games, the 20-year-old forward averaged 21.7 points, 6.0 rebounds, 2.3 assists and 4.0 steals per game while shooting 52.8% from the field and 46.7% from three.

Of course, Holland II was the fifth pick in the 2024 draft by the Pistons and after playing a key role for them last season, he entered the summer looking to earn an even larger role next season.
That will likely be the case for the young forward as he continued to impress in Las Vegas and also looked to have clearly made some improvements shooting the ball and also on the defensive side.
With the Pistonsโ loss of Tim Hardaway Jr. this offseason, it is likely that Holland II will have a large role in their rotation next season and could even be moved into the starting lineup at some point by head coach J.B. Bickerstaff if he continues to improve his game.
Either way, Detroit expects Holland II to continue to improve heading into next season as he is a key part of their young core alongside Cade Cunningham and Ausar Thompson.
