Stephen Curry has been with the Golden State Warriors for 16 years, and fans have been wondering how much longer he plans on playing.

Stephen Curry and the Golden State Warriors have had one crazy ride together, and are coming up on their seventeenth season together.

Understandingly, this has raised some questions about Curry’s future in the league and with the Warriors.

Recently, he took it upon himself to answer the question on a podcast with internet personality Speedy Morman.

“I’m nowhere close to that (retirement) though,” Curry said Thursday.

Host Speedy Morman responds by asking if that means he still has a few years left in him, to which Curry confirms, saying, “for sure.”

Great news for Warriors fans as they should expect a couple more seasons out of the all-time leader in three-pointers made.

Curry was taken seventh overall by the Warriors way back in 2009, likely with no expectations of him becoming the player he is today.

Now, at the ripe age of 37, he has changed the game of basketball forever and could retire at any point as a guaranteed legend of the game.

That is not a part of his plan, though. He wants to look back and know he has completed everything he can and doesn’t feel that way yet.

Even in his sixteenth season, he still managed to lead the league with 4.4 three-pointers made per night and scored 24.4 points per game.

Luckily for Warriors fans, Curry, who they can attribute much of their success over the last decade to, seems to have no plan to retire anytime soon.
