When Angel Reese returned from WNBA All-Star Weekend, she was not afraid to address some of the Chicago Sky's shortcomings.
Angel Reese Turns Heads With New Demands for Chicago Sky originally appeared on Athlon Sports.
Last week, The Athletic's anonymous WNBA players poll named the Chicago Sky as the league's worst-run organization, citing poor facilities and general mismanagement.
Sky forward Angel Reese admitted that she spent All-Star Weekend in Indianapolis comparing notes with players from other franchises and returned with a list of necessary changes that she took directly to the Chicago front office.
Fans were thrilled with Reese's advocacy after she spilled details of her direct conversation with the organization before the Sky's game against the Minnesota Lynx.
"I’ve talked to a lot of great players about even the small things of how they run their organizations," Reese said when asked what she learned at her second All-Star Game in as many seasons. "I came back and told the Chicago Sky things we need to add in because I think that’s important."
We asked Angel Reese about the best piece of advice that she received during All-Star weekend.

"Angel Reese really the Goat," praised a fan on X.
"If Sky thinks the bare minimum is going to work for Angel like it did for other superstars in Chicago they have another thing coming," said one response.
"The Sky better step it up or you are really going to lose her !!" echoed another fan.

"And I love how transparent she is with them and how she’s unapologetically standing on business about what’s needed and wanted to improve their org for the players," said an X user. "Very good business minded woman. Love, love, love that!"
Reese and WNBA players asking for more amid CBA negotiations
Reese's remarks come in the middle of tense negotiations between the WNBA and the players for a new collective bargaining agreement (CBA).
She joined the rest of the players in the All-Star Game wearing warm-up shirts that carried the clear message regarding revenue sharing: "Pay us what you owe us."
Part of her urgency in asking Chicago to make upgrades revolves around the fact that the current CBA expires after this season. With massive salary increases expected when a new CBA is agreed, the vast majority of the league's All-Star talent will hit free agency in 2026.
Reese, who is tied down to a four-year, $324,383 rookie contract, is a rare exception. She wants to make Chicago as attractive as possible, knowing she will still be there.
"I let (the Sky) know these are things that we need especially with this big free agency coming up," Reese said. "I don’t complain about (expletive) but it’s a look for the other players ... They want to see these things, they want transparency, they want to know that they’re going to an organization that really cares about them."
