Florida State has added another piece to its offensive trenches from the transfer portal, with Troy transfer Paul Bowling committing to the Seminoles on Wednesday.

Bowling, who has three years of eligibility remaining, is a versatile lineman who started every regular season game for the Trojans this year— nine at center and three at left guard — as a true freshman.
The 6-foot-4, 315-pound lineman chose the Seminoles over Georgia Tech.

2025 (Freshman): Started nine games at center and three games at left guard as a true freshman … First true freshman to start the season opener at center in Troy’s recorded history; just the second to start on the offensive line … Played 752 snaps, with 533 coming at center and 219 at guard … Allowed just three sacks in 451 passing situations; graded as a 68.9 pass blocker per PFF, second on the team … Posted four 100 efficacy games (Clemson, South Alabama, Georgia State and Southern Miss) … Injured on first play at Texas State, missed ULM the following week and opted out for the bowl game … Did not allow a sack in 9-of-11 games (not counting Texas State)
