We here at Purple Row are in a reflective mood.
In asking this, I am stealing a question that The Athletic’s “The Pulse” newsletter posed to their staff and readers.
The answers were compelling and touched on a wide range of topics.
There was not a great deal of joy for the historically bad 2025 Colorado Rockies and their fans. But I’m a big believer in using the ends of things as a time of reflection and assessment.
As 2025 comes to a close, it seems a question worth asking: What brought you sports joy this year?
