Borussia Dortmund are the latest club to express an interest in Chelsea defender Axel Disasi according to reports.
Disasi failed to secure a move away in the summer despite having interest from a number of clubs, and has been part of the infamous “bomb” squad.
The Frenchman is said to have turned down several loan moves on deadline, but with the January window fast approaching he looks set to leave.
Borussia Dortmund express interest in Axel Disasi
Disasi has featured for Chelsea’s development side in an attempt to keep him match fit ahead of a potential exit month.
The 27-year-old featured in first team training during the November international break, but Enzo Maresca dismissed any talk of a potential return.
Disasi is expected to leave Chelsea in January.
Disasi has been offered to Barcelona, but any move abroad would have to be permanent given Chelsea have used all their international loans.
Roma have reportedly opened negotiations over a permanent move for Disasi, and Bild have now reported Borussia Dortmund are the latest side to show an interest.
However, the report adds Disasi’s preference is a move to Serie A, with Roma boss Gian Piero Gasperini said to be a fan of the former Monaco man.
Disasi arrived at Chelsea for £38.5m from Monaco in the summer of 2023, and after thriving under Mauricio Pochettino it became clear pretty quickly he would be surplus to requirements under Marsesca.
Chelsea hoping to offload Raheem Sterling
Whilst Disasi is attracting interest from a number of clubs, the same can’t be said for Raheem Sterling, who the Blues are also looking to offload.

Sterling hasn’t played since a failed loan spell at Arsenal last season, and the Blues will be desperate to find a solution in the upcoming window.
There doesn’t appear to be any suitors for Sterling, who’s preference is to remain in London, but Chelsea will be desperately hoping to find a way to get just part of his reported wages of in excess of £300,000 per week off the books.
