UFC stars Arman Tsarukyan and Shara Magomedov meet on the mats
This is the Hype FC live blog for Arman Tsarukyan vs. Shara Bullet, the middleweight grappling bout taking place Tuesday at Karen Demirchyan Sports and Concerts Complex in Yerevan, Armenia.
Tsarukyan is currently a top lightweight contender in the UFC, with a 10-2 record in the promotion and a five-fight win streak that includes victories over Dan Hooker, Charles Oliveira, and Beneil Dariush. The Armenian standout looks to earn a title shot in 2026 after an injury forced him out of a matchup with then-champion Islam Makhachev at UFC 311 this past January.
In the meantime, Tsarukyan has been staying busy with grappling competitions, defeating Mehdi Baydulaev, Benson Henderson, Patricky Pitbull, and Makkasharip Zaynukov on the mats in 2025.
Shara Bullet—a.k.a. Shara Magomedov—has made a name for himself in the UFC’s middleweight division. In his most recent outing, Magomedov scored a decision win over Marc-Andre Barriault to rebound from a disappointing loss to Michael “Venom” Page. He and Tsarukyan compete in Hype FC for the first time.
