Rams-Falcons second-half discussion: Was is happening to L.A.?

The 10-4 Los Angeles Rams are down multiple scores to the 6-9 Atlanta Falcons

The Los Angeles Rams trail the Atlanta Falcons by a score of 21-0 after the first half of play. The Rams were punched in the mouth by the Falcons and fell behind 14-0 before the first quarter came to an end.

The Rams aren’t out of it technically, but Matthew Stafford has two interceptions on the day, while something has been off with L.A.

Kirk Cousins converted on big downs, and Matthew Stafford and the offense have looked out of rhythm. The Falcons have looked like the team that wants it more. That may be hard to quantify, but if you have watched this game, then through two quarters which team has looked to care more about today’s contest than the other?

Sometimes the score does tell the story, and the story on this Monday is that the Rams have been getting outplayed by a team that many expected to barely show-up.

It’s likely that the Rams planned to take an early lead today, and build some motivation to go into the final week of the season, but the Rams have instead looked scared and deflated.

There is still a half of go, but to this point, the Rams haven’t shown up in Week 17, while the Falcons have.

Whose fault is that? And will it be corrected in quarters three and four? Stay tuned.

There is an entire half of football to go, so you’re going to want to stay locked in to see how this Week 17 contest comes to an end!
