UCF Women’s Basketball All-Quarter-Century Team

We give you our first, second, and third teams from the last 25 years

To celebrate the quarter-century mark, we picked the UCF Knights All-Century Basketball Roster, covering the best players since 2000.

We have put together a 15-player roster as voted on by a group of people that have covered UCF Women’s Basketball this century.


First Team

Kay Kay Wright — 2016-2020

  • Only Knight to finish in the top five in career points (ranking third with 1,614), assists (second with 494), and steals (third with 268)
  • Only Knight with at least 1,600 points, 400 assists and 250 steals in a career.
  • Sixth in program history in career free throws made (288), fourth in free-throw percentage (.787) and fourth in most field goals made (625).
  • Unanimous First Team All-AAC selection in 2020 after also making First Team in 2019.
  • Led UCF into the postseason three times — two WNIT appearances in 2017 and 2018, and the NCAA Tournament in 2019.

Diamond Battles — 2018-2022

  • Helped the Knights to three NCAA Tournament appearances (2019, 2021, 2022)
  • Led UCF to its first regular season conference title since 2005, its first conference tournament title since 2011, and its first NCAA Tournament win in program history in 2022
  • Named to the AAC All-Tournament Team and named the tournament’s Most Outstanding Player in 2022
  • Unanimously selected to the All-AAC First Team, named both AAC Player of the Year and Defensive Player of the Year and selected as a WBCA All-America Honorable Mention in 2022
  • Finished 10th in career assists (300) and 10th in steals (168).

Aisha Patrick — 2008-2012

  • Ranked in UCF’s career top top ten in points (10th – 1,189), assists (fifth – 357), rebounds (fifth – 819), steals (T-1st – 284), double-doubles (sixth – 15) and free throws made (seventh – 267).
  • Only player in Knights history to record 1,000 points, 800 rebounds and 300 assists over a career.
  • Named All-Conference USA First Team in 2012 and was part of two C-USA Championships and trips to the NCAA Tournament (2009, 2011).

 Masseny Kaba — 2017-2022

  • Helped UCF to the NCAA Tournament three times (2019, 2021 and 2022).
  • Third in blocks in program history (123),
  • 4th-most rebounds in program history (846)
  • 10th-most points in program history (1,214).
  • Only Knight in program history with at least 800 rebounds and 100 blocks.

Emma Cannon — 2007-2010

  • Named the C-USA Tournament MVP leading the Knights to the NCAA Tournament in 2009
  • Named to the C-USA 1st Team in 2009.
  • Named to the C-USA 3rd Team in 2010
  • 2nd All-time at UCF in Rebounds with 903 and rebounds per game (10.1)
  • 2nd all-time at UCF in Double-Doubles (40)

Second Team

Zykira Lewis — 2013-2017

  • 1,883 career points — 2nd in UCF history
  • 257 career steals — 4th in UCF history
  • UCF’s all-time leader with 271 three-pointers
  • 7th-best career scoring average in program history at 15.4 points per game
  • Third Team All-AAC in 2017
  • Second team All-AAC in 2015.
  • Scored second-most points in a single game by a Knight with 41 points vs FAU in 2014

Chelsie Wiley — 2006-2011

  • Two-time All-CUSA selection (3rd team in ‘09, 2nd team in ‘11) and was selected to the CUSA All-Tournament team twice (2009 and 2011).
  • Ranks 5th all-time at UCF in points scored (1,531)
  • 4th all-time in three-pointers made (134) and 3rd all-time in 3-point percentage (.363).
  • Two-time CUSA Champion (2009, 2011) and made two NCAA Tournament appearances.

Celeste Hudson2002-2005, 2006-2007

  • Two-time First Team A-Sun All-Conference selection
  • Two-time A-Sun All-Tournament Team member
  • A-Sun Defensive Player of the Year in 2004-05
  • 10th Knight to reach 1,000 career points
  • 3rd all-time at UCF in three-pointers made field goals made
  • Top 10 in career steals
  • Named to A-Sun All-Decade Team

Brittney Smith — 2018-2022

  • American Athletic Conference Sixth Player of the Year in 2022
  • Earned American Athletic Conference Third Team honors in 2020 and 2021
  • Part of UCF’s 2022 AAC Championship
  • Part of UCF NCAA Tournament Appreances in 2019, 2021, and 2022.

Ali Roberts — 2001-2005

  • All-time leader in career block shots at UCF with 219
  • 10th all-time at UCF in Rebounds (613)
  • Second Team A-Sun All Conference in 2005
  • Two Time All A-Sun Tournament Team member in 2004,2005

Third Team

Aliyah Gregory — 2014-2018

  • Finished 6th all-time in scoring at UCF (1,437 points), 4th in FGs (578)
  • All-AAC First Teamer in 2016-17
  • Led UCF in FT% three times and assists once.
  • Made 15 shots from the field (4th-highest single-game total in UCF history in Knights’ first-ever win at South Florida in 2017
  • Recorded 9th-highest single-season points mark and 5th-highest total number of field goals made in school history in 2016-17

Tay Sanders — 2019-2022

  • American Athletic Conference Second Team in 2021
  • American Athletic Conference Third Team in 2022
  • Part of UCF’s 2022 AAC Championship and two NCAA Tournament appearances in 2021 and 2022

D’Nay Daniels — 2007-2011

  • All-C-USA Tournament selection in 2011
  • Led UCF in scoring and FG% in 2010-11
  • Ranks 8th all-time at UCF in scoring (1,217 points), 6th in rebounds, 8th in FGs,
  • Led UCF in FG% twice despite playing as a guard
  • Part of UCF’s 2009 and 2011 C-USA Tournament Championship & NCAA Tournament Teams

Nyala Shuler – 2014-2019

  • 5th all-time in Rebounds at UCF with 837
  • 9th all-time in Blocks at UCF with 84
  • Helped UCF to NCAA Tournament in 2019
  • Part of UCF ‘s WNIT Teams in 2017, 2018

Kaitlin Peterson — 2023-2025

  • 20th Knight to score 1,000 career points, but was the first to do it in only two seasons
  • All-Big 12 Second Team member in 2024, Big 12 Honorable Mention in 2025
  • Averaged 21.4 points as a senior, the best season average by a Knight in the D1 era
  • All-time leader at UCF in points per game (21.0)
  • 6th all-time at UCF in 3-pointers made with 112
  • Led UCF in steals in both of her seasons
