Sycamore edges Dakota at Boylan’s Reindeer Games

ROCKFORD, Ill. (WTVO/WQRF) — The opening day of Boylan’s Reindeer Games provided some great girls’ basketball action Saturday. One of the best games played out when Dakota faced Sycamore.

It was a tight game all the way with Sycamore prevailing 53-51. Quinn Carrier fired in seven three-pointers on her way to a 26-oint game for Sycamore. Sophomore Sadie Lang added 17 points. She was big in the fourth quarter when she scored 11 points.

Mekenna Stuckey led a balanced Dakota effort scoring 12 points. Brynlee Sickles scored ten points. Finley Banks and Hailey Kerchner each added eight points.
