For POP-TART SACRIFICE!
It may be bowl game day, but more importantly, it’s our final chance to watch Haynes King lead the #19 Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets against BYU in one more game, one that hopefully will see Tech win their 10th game of the 2025 season and mark their first 10-win season since 2014.
On the injury front, Tech will most notably be without wide reciever Isiah Canion, who per multiple reports is not sitting out voluntarily, but has had an undisclosed injury he is dealing with.
Also out are Clayton Powell-Lee, Chad Alexander, Brayden Manley, and Savion Riley. Chris Weinke will be calling plays for the offense after the departure of Buster Faulkner for Florida. With Aaron Philo having declared for the transfer portal, Graham Knowles will be the backup quarterback.
On BYU’s side, they are without their star running back L.J. Martin, the Big 12 Offensive Player of the Year.
