Eagles Injury Report: Lane Johnson DNP again

Thursday news and updates.

The Philadelphia Eagles issued their second official injury report in advance of their Week 17 road game against the Buffalo Bills.

Note that this report is an estimation because the Eagles held a walkthrough in lieu of a normal practice.

The Eagles listed four players under DID NOT PARTICIPATE:Lane Johnson, A.J. Brown, Nakobe Dean, and Landon Dickerson.

It seems like Lane Johnson is on track to miss yet another start. Speaking on his unCovering the Birds podcast, the Inquirer’s Jeff McLane indicated that Lane Johnson could probably have returned by now if the Eagles were desperate enough to play him. Seems like they’re trying to save him for the playoffs instead.

Brown is listed under DNP for the second day in a row after an oral procedure. Guessing he won’t miss Sunday’s game.

Dean is dealing with a hamstring injury that will likely cause him to miss Sunday’s game. Jihaad Campbell is set to start in his place.

Dickerson is listed with an “illness” that probably won’t prevent him from playing.

The Eagles listed seven players under FULL PARTICIPATION: Jalen Carter, DeVonta Smith, Zack Baun, Jihaad Campbell, Fred Johnson, Cameron Latu, and Cameron Williams.

They were all listed as full go for the second day in a row.
