FC Bayern appear to be equipped with both world-class young talent and veterans.
In a world where transfer prices are frequently recorded over 100 million euros, market value is more important than ever. These values hold a lot of value for fans, and surely are referenced by pundits and other sporting personalities. The world’s premier site for player market values recently had its Bundesliga market update, and there were no shortage of headlines in the December update.
Among Lennart Karl’s meteoric rise, there is also a tale of the opposite side, veterans. While both Harry Kane and Joshua Kimmich saw diminishing values in the last update, both these players actually remain the two most valuable 30+ year olds in the world.
While the talk of the town is Bayern’s youth, it is great to see that Bayern Munich’s veterans have retained value over time and proves that if Kane were ever to depart the Bavarians, a handsome fee could still be collected at this time. What is perhaps most impressive is the fact that Kane is 25 million euros more valuable than second place on this list, and is aged 32 years old. While Kane will be overtaken inevitably in the next two years, that stat speaks volumes. Bravo Kane and Kimmich!
