Well, Flock Nation, here we are.
The Ravens are 7-8 and need the Browns – yes, the Browns – to beat the Steelers on Sunday. Of course, that’s assuming Baltimore can take care of business in Green Bay on Saturday night, which feels like a long shot in and of itself. Even if they miraculously make the playoffs, the 2025 season will still be a distinct disappointment barring an even more miraculous run to the Super Bowl.
Of much greater import is the future. The Ravens are heading into their toughest offseason since at least 2023, the last time Eric DeCosta had to negotiate a contract with Lamar Jackson. With the myriad of other questions facing the franchise, you could argue that the 2026 offseason is the most consequential of DeCosta’s tenure as general manager. That’s not even mentioning the elephant in the Castle – head coach John Harbaugh’s job security, which he addressed this week for the first time in years.
It’s clear that changes are needed in Baltimore. Do you think the Ravens can make the right ones?
