In aid of Austrian Sporthilfe
Following our 2-1 home win at the end of the year against WAC, all match-worn jerseys from both teams were signed by the respective players and donated to Austrian Sporthilfe, which auctioned off the jerseys for a good cause to help local youth and disabled sports.
A total of around €10,000 was raised, including €6,200 for the jerseys worn by our Red Bulls. The highest amount was raised by the jerseys of our double goalscorer Kerim Alajbegovic (€1,251), Stevie Lainer (€450) and Mads Bidstrup as well as Alex Schlager (€400 each).
We would like to thank everyone who bid during the auction and made this great result possible. We are very pleased that our jerseys can make a valuable contribution to promoting local sport in this way.
