Max Eberl not focused on extending his deal at Bayern Munich

Will Max Eberl re-up at FC Bayern?

One of the primary job responsibilities of Bayern Munich board member for sport Max Eberl is work through the details of contract extensions.

When it comes to his own deal, though, Eberl will just let things play out. The executive is in no rush to start thinking about his contract.

“No, not yet. But I’m really enjoying my work here. My history has always been one where I had to work hard for everything, first as a footballer and later as sporting director. At FC Bayern, we’re also a team in the management. I contribute my part and have gained a lot of experience. And in the end, I trusted my gut feeling that this could turn out well, something we decided on together after a lot of preparation. I’m convinced it’s going in the right direction,” Eberl told Sport Bild’s Henning Feindt, Christian Falk, and Tobi Altschäffl (as captured by @iMiaSanMia).

Eberl, who saw his tenure at Borussia Mönchengladbach end because of burnout, seems to be in good spirits after a very arduous summer. If he can stay engaged and enthused about his job, there is no reason to think that he will not be up for an extension when the time comes.
