Out-of-favour at Fiorentina, OGC Nice could make a move to sign Amir Richardson (23) during the January transfer window, according to a report from Fabrizio Romano.
Richardson came through the ranks at Nice before joining Le Havre AC at a young age. His breakthrough, however, came at Stade de Reims, where his performances earned him a €9m move to Fiorentina back in the summer of 2024.
The Morocco international made 39 appearances during his debut season, but he has played a very peripheral role during the current campaign, making just four appearances in all competitions. His only starts have come in the UEFA Europa Conference League.
Nice could offer Richardson the chance for more game time from January. Romano understands that Nice have made an approach for their former academy player. However, he also features on the shortlists of several other clubs.
Le Gym are looking to strengthen across the pitch in January, after the first half of their season fell way below expectations.
