Astros Announce First Annual Jim Crane Celebrity Classic

The first annual Jim Crane Celebrity Classic presented by James Hardie charity event will be held January 24-26, 2026, at the Floridian National Golf Club in Palm City, FL.

“The Classic” a three-day, star-studded, charity event, will be hosted in conjunction between the Astros Foundation and the G-Unity Foundation and will benefit a wide variety of non-profit and charitable organizations, targeting youth sports and education, childhood cancer, military appreciation, and efforts to reduce homelessness and domestic violence.

One of the highlights of the event will be the Jim Crane Celebrity Golf Classic presented by James Hardie, which is scheduled for Monday, Jan. 26. This event will start with a National Anthem performance from Three-Time Grammy Award Winning Artist, Ne-Yo, and feature several prominent, former pro athletes, including more than 20 Hall of Famers as well as several A-list stars from music and entertainment. Some tentative celebrities and athletes participating in the event include: Jack Nicklaus, Mark Wahlberg, Barry Bonds, Ken Griffey Jr, Albert Pujols, Reggie Jackson, Johnny Bench, Anthony Mackie, Roger Clemens, Lawrence Taylor, Jim Kelly, Terrell Owens, Ray Lewis, Justin Verlander, Eric Dickerson, Mike Piazza, CC Sabathia, Mike Schmidt, Andre Dawson, Jeff Bagwell, Fred McGriff, Gary Sheffield, Andruw Jones, Robinson Canó, Cam Smith, Kyle Tucker, Michael Brantley, Andre Johnson, Urban Meyer, Mark Ingram, Xandra Pohl, Sydney Thomas, Josie Canseco and Rachel DeMita. A finalized list will be confirmed and released closer to the event next month.

In addition to the Golf Classic, the Astros Foundation will host multiple private charity events on-site at the Floridian. On Saturday, January 24^th, Terrell Owens will host an instructional pickleball event for 81 members of Big Brothers Big Sisters of Palm Beach and Martin Counties. On Sunday, January 25^th, events include the Terrell Owens Pickleball Clinic presented by Nu Energy, the Harmon Course Par 3 Challenge presented by Coca-Cola, and the G-Unity Kick Off Party presented by Daikin, which will be hosted by 50 Cent, emceed by NBA TV Reporter, Allie LaForce, and will tentatively feature live performances from Chase Rice, Tucker Wetmore, Jamey Johnson, Scarface, Keith Sweat, Bun B, Slim Thug, Gary Owen, Bill Bellamy, Mo Amer, as well asmagician/mentalist, Shlomo Levinger, and additional surprise artists that will be announced closer to the event.

The Astros Foundation, on behalf of Owner & Chairman, Jim Crane and Nine-Time Major Champion, Gary Player, the original architect of Floridian’s golf course, will introduce the first annual “The Harder You Work The Luckier You Get” Award presented by U.S. Coins and Jewelry, which will be presented to a special recipient at the G-Unity Kick Off Party.

Numerous check presentations will take place throughout the event in support of local charitable organizations, which include the Nicklaus Children’s Healthcare Foundation, Martin County North Little League, Big Brothers Big Sisters of Palm Beach and Martin Counties and more.
