Paquette, a product of Collegeville, Penn., just finished his fifth season with the Nittany Lions, putting up three goals and five assists for eight points in 38 games. Across a total of 143 career games at Penn State, the 24-year-old scored 27 goals and added 21 assists for 48 points.
Before making his way to the NCAA, Paquette suited up in the USHL with the Des Moines Buccaneers and the Green Bay Gamblers. His best season offensively came in 2019-20 when he had 23 points in 46 games with the Gamblers.
With Paquette about to begin his professional career, he will likely play an important role for the Nailers. Capable of creating for teammates in small areas, Paquette has the wherewithal to be a producer for his new team.
