Bournemouth are considering a move for Sevilla centre-back Loïc Badé (25), according to a report from Foot Mercato. The Premier League side is looking at alternative targets to bolster Andoni Iraola’s defensive options in the wake of Dean Huijsen’s move to Real Madrid. Meanwhile, Illia Zabarnyi could also be on his way out of the Vitality Stadium amid interest from PSG.
Bournemouth previously prioritized making a move for Lille centre-back Bafodé Diakité, who also reached an agreement on personal terms with the Cherries. But the outlet adds that Lille are holding out for a €40m transfer fee to part ways with their French centre-back, who excelled in stepping in following Leny Yoro’s departure to Manchester United last year.
Les Dogues have reportedly turned down a €30m bid from Bournemouth. Badé would be a cheaper alternative to Diakité as Sevilla would request a €30m transfer fee for the centre-back who impressed for his Les Bleus debut against Germany in the Nations League 3rd place game.
