Lamar Jackson left the game late in the second half.
In a game overrun with injuries, the Ravens lost Lamar Jackson at the end of the first half in their Sunday Night Football game against the Patriots.
Jackson was leading the Ravens on a drive late in the second quarter that ended with a game-trying field goal. But he was on his way to the locker room with a back injury before the kick went through the uprights.
The Ravens originally listed him as questionable as Tyler Huntley replaced him. He was ruled out late in the third quarter.
Jackson, who has battled injuries all year, was slow to get up after being tackled by Craig Woodson after a 3-yard run.
Coming out of halftime, Jim Harbaugh said the medical staff was “working on him” and didn’t rule out a possible return.
Jackson missed three games with injury earlier this year.
He completed 7 of 10 passes for 101 yards and rushed twice for seven yards before the injury. NBC cameras showed Jackson wincing in pain on the sideline before headling to the locker room.
The Patriots are dealing with injuries to Morgan Moses, who returned, and Tyler Munford and TreVeyon Henderson.
