Juventus are beginning to evaluate their options between the sticks as the January transfer window approaches, with Lazio’s Christos Mandas emerging as a concrete target.

According to a report by Alfredo Pedullà, the Bianconeri are seriously considering the Greek goalkeeper to bolster their defensive ranks, particularly with Mattia Perin reportedly pushing for a return to Genoa.

Mandas has impressed when called upon in the capital, but Lazio owner Claudio Lotito is not prepared to let the 23-year-old leave on the cheap. The report makes the Biancocelesti’s financial demands crystal clear: Lazio will not consider any offers below the €15 million mark.

For Juventus, the move hinges largely on Perin’s future. The Italian veteran is keen on a move back to the Marassi, and should that deal accelerate, Juve are expected to intensify contacts for Mandas. However, the Greek shot-stopper is not the only piece of the puzzle; Lazio are already scouting potential replacements, with Nicola Leali identified as a possible candidate to fill the void if Mandas departs.

While negotiations are still in the preliminary stages, the €15m asking price sets a firm boundary for the Turin giants. With Perin’s exit looming, the Greek international has moved to the top of the list for a Juventus side looking to secure a reliable deputy for Michele Di Gregorio.
